Cycle 4 St. Joe's 2017

Team Teranet

Join our team on Sunday, September 24th and Cycle 4 St. Joe's! I know there is a cycling crowd at Teranet, and nothing can bring people together like a great cause and some good fun, with a little bit of sweat.

With Ingrid Buday as Team Captain and Kerri Brass as executive sponsor, this promises to be a cross functional team building session like no other. Cycling spans all verticals, all business units and management levels. This is one case where the road is the same for everyone! There are 10, 40 and 85 km distances to choose from, something for everyone. Thanks to House Leagues, there will be events to help us reach our goal of raising $4,000 and raising enough awareness to have a team of 20 or more riders.

Two and a half years ago, Ingrid was involved in a severe bike accident riding to work, requiring 2 surgeries on her left shoulder at St. Joe’s hospital. Since then, she has participated in the Cycle 4 St. Joe's event and has served on the committee.

Kerri Brass is an avid cyclist who has participated in numerous charity cycling events in recent years, both as an individual and as part of a team. Putting together a Teranet team for this event is a great way to showcase Teranet to the community at large, engage with team-mates in different areas of the company and have some fun while doing so!

This year the ride starts from the Mattamy National Cycling Centre (Milton Velodrome), the facilities are available inside before and after the event. It is an amazing venue, and watching people ride in there is exciting. Riding it even more so! Catering will be provided by Woody's Burgers! If you are thinking about joining the ride click the link below to find Team Teranet, register and join us!

We will set dates for a pre ride get together (let the stories begin!), a pre ride of the 40 km course (so you know what you signed up for!), and a date after the event to celebrate our accomplishments!

Every dollar we raise will be put to great use to build better spaces to care for the ever-growing West End community, ensure the physicians and health care teams have the best equipment and technology to diagnose and treat patients, and create specialized areas to care for those in our community with specific health needs.

If two wheels and a saddle are not your friend… please consider a small donation to provide great care to those in Toronto’s west end; residents and all those passing through.

For more information about this event and to donate please visit www.cycle4stjoes.ca

Thanks!

Kerri and Ingrid
