Join our team on Sunday, September 23rd and Cycle 4 St. Joe's! I know there is a cycling crowd at Teranet, and nothing can bring people together like a great cause and some good fun, with a little bit of sweat.
With Kerri Brass and Yves Denomme as Executive Sponsors and Ingrid Buday as Team Captain, this promises to be a cross-functional team building session like no other. We are inviting Teranet CMS to join us on the ride; this is a great opportunity for us to connect with our colleagues in a fun event while supporting active living and good cause.
Cycling spans all companies, all verticals, all business units and management levels. This is one case where the road is the same for everyone! There are 10, 25, 40 and 85 km distances, something for all types of riders! We would love to see 30 riders come out and join us.
Kerri is an avid cyclist who has participated in numerous charity cycling events in recent years, both as an individual and as part of a team. Putting together a Teranet team for this event is a great way to showcase Teranet to the community at large, engage with team-mates in different areas of the company and have some fun while doing so!
Yves is a “weekend warrior” cyclist and enjoys participating in charity cycling events because they are a great combination of physical exercise and social team building—all while giving back to great causes. Yves is passionate about healthcare because it touches all of us and our loved ones during our most vulnerable moments. He serves on the board of St. Joseph Health Centre.
Ingrid was involved in a severe bike accident riding to work that resulted in two surgeries on her left shoulder at St. Joe’s. Since then, she has participated in the Cycle 4 St. Joe's event and has served on the committee, raising funds and awareness while having fun and giving back. Ingrid loves riding and believes that being healthy is the greatest gift one can have and promotes healthy living by example.
The ride starts from the Mattamy National Cycling Centre (Milton Velodrome) and the facilities are available inside before and after the event. It is an amazing venue and watching people ride in there is exciting. Riding it even more so! Catering will be provided by Woody's Burgers! Every dollar we raise will be put to great use to build better spaces to care for the ever-growing West End community, to ensure the physicians and health care teams have the best equipment and technology to diagnose and treat patients, and to create specialized areas to care for those in our community with specific health needs.
If two wheels and a saddle are not your friend … please consider a small donation to provide great care to those in Toronto’s west end residents and all those passing through.
Thank you for visiting the site, please sign up or donate today!
